acart.biz was originally started as A-CART amd A-CART Pro in the late 90's, long before most of today's shopping carts had even been thought of.  It started off as an ASP (hence the 'A' in A-CART),  download which anyone could download for free and install on their server.  It quickly became widley used by the e-commmerce pioneers of the day!

 

Since then A-CART has transformed into acart.biz, a fully hosted e-commerce solution.  The code base has been totally rewritten (we run Java on the servers, not ASP anymore!) and many more features are now available.

 

We are based in the beautiful city of Amsterdam, The Netherlands, which despite the reputation some people might associate it with, is really one of the worlds great cities.  (Can you tell we love it here?)
